I came to Ireland from Zimbabwe in Sep. 2000 where I worked for a legal firm graduating in Management Studies from Griffith College in 2006
Working as a Professional with a Communications Company I found it difficult to find a reliable maid service for our Home. Both my husband and I were working long hours and our home was suffering as a consequence. When the opportunity arose in 2007 to open our own Maid service I jumped at the chance and made a commitment from day one to provide a Reliable trustworthy service which delivered value for money.

Hi, I'm Dermot, The Marketing and Public relations guru, simply put I'm the person who Creates awareness of our wonderful business and informing our Customers about our Special offers and promotions, always driving down the price and ensuring our Customers get Value for money. My Career started as a Chef after graduating from Cathal Bruagh street with a "Degree in the culinary arts" and working in some of the finest Hotels in the Country after that I travelled the World Australia - Switzerland - South Africa and many places in between. I still enjoy travelling to broaden my horizons.
In 2004 found my way into a job I enjoy 'Public Relations' and later graduated from the "Public Relations Institute of Ireland" Diploma programme in UCD. I joined Maud in 2007 when "Maud's Merry Maids" opened its doors and never looked back ever since as we continue to grow from strength to strength.

I love my Job and Maud is a Fantastic person to work for (she made me say that) but really there is great optometry if you are prepared to work hard and the future looks good. We have a unique network of Business Consultants ensuring that we have a Local consultant in every part of the Country so we can provide good customer service whether you are in Dublin or Carlow - Cork or Galway My Job is to liaise with our BC's and Customers to ensure that they have the necessary support that they need.
